You can read and discover how the club was formed in 1994.

We don't simply bowl but also play cribbage in the local Leagues, Darts in friendly nights at the club as well as a Summer League on Wednesday evenings and a Super League team on Monday evenings from September to June each year. A new Darts Academy is starting on March 1^st 2025 for ages 8 to 21. This will run every other week on a Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

We hold bingo twice a month from October to April and monthly during the playing season May to September.

We also hold 4 quiz nights a year in January, March, June/July & October.

Live music by tribute artists and bands entertain us on Saturday evenings about every 6 weeks. You can see all the Social events planned for 2025 in the Social tab on our menu.

As a bowler you will be interested in the fixtures arranged for the coming season and the results of these matches.

Today we have a thriving Bowls club with a green used by both the Ladies and Men’s County Teams and a superb club house.

We are always looking for new members to play bowls or to join our cribbage & darts teams, to play bingo or even just to come along and enjoy a social evening with friends. The bar is open weekdays most evenings and Sundays when we have home matches in the summer or a most Saturdays.
